A huge statue of Child Jesus (Sto. Nino) was erected near the Church in the year 2004, as a gift of a benefactor, which attracts hundreds of pilgrims. It is a crowning point of pilgrims’ devotion and prayer and the most frequented point for a photo souvenir. This concrete statue is twelve feet tall and built into a huge rock. It was artistically made by Mr. Vic Gulani of Cebu. The monastery celebrates the Feast of Sto. Nino on the first Sunday of February every year followed by procession and sinulog dances in front of the statue of Sto. Nino.
