In the months March, April and May 2017 we were busy searching for a house for the brothers to stay and go for studies in San Carlos Seminary both for Philosophy and Theology, in Mabolo, Cebu City. God was so kind enough to shower us His blessing to find and buy the suitable house which is located in the Subdivision of Gemsville (#1 Sapphire Street) in Lahug, Cebu City (near Ayala Center). It was made possible through the financial support of our dear Abbot General, Rev. Fr. Michael Kelly OSB (with the help of the Sylvestro-Benedictine Priory in USA.)
On 4th June 2017, the new study house (St. Benedict’s Study House) was inaugurated by Rev. Msgr. Vincent Rey Penagunda (Rector of Semanario Mayor de San Carlos – Cebu) and blessed by Rev. Msgr. Renato C. Beltran Jr. (Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Cebu).
