Last October 2, 2016, on the Lord’s Day: Sunday, and the memorial of the Holy Guardian Angels, Br. Dom Emie D. Gaviola, OSB gave himself entirely to God in the monastic way of life as a solemnly made Sylvestro-Benedictine monk in St. Benedict’s Monastery, Corte, Carmen, Cebu. He professed his solemn vows under the hands of Very Rev. Fr. Joseph Kolamkallam OSB, the superior.
Br. Emie offered himself to a commitment of obedience, stability and conversion of manners that will leave a lasting impression on his soul forever.
